Horwin unlocks a new layer of freedom. The freedom to beat the traffic, to go on adventures, to throw away timetables, to travel when you choose, to ride further, to park closer and to ride with zero emissions.
The Horwin range starts at just $5295 (+on road costs of $285) and will change how you travel. These electric step through motorcycles have range of up to 80kms, with the EK1 limited to a top speed of 50km/hr, and the EK3 capable of 90km/hr. Both models come with cruise control and a reverse gear, and are a full sized scooter unlike many imitators from other markets. That means even a big unit like our Vaughan have no problems operating these vehicles with comfort.
HORWIN EK1 and EK3 are equipped with a removable 36Ah, 72V high voltage intelligent lithium battery. The battery utilises 18650 lithium-ion battery cells, which provide protection against over-charging, discharging, over-voltage, short circuit as well as monitoring the temperature of the batteries.
With a battery life of around 1000 cycles the battery will last for more than years in most applications.
The charging time of one battery is 4 hours, using the 10A intelligent charger which is included, and you can charge the battery on or off the bike. Perfect for city dwellers.
