Share some of the BMG Story this weekend at the vintage car show
A photo from our archives from the 1960's when Bowaters were the agents for Triumph - this photo of the iconic Triumph Spitfire was taken at the Richmond A&P Show.
A company with such a long history as the Bowater Motor Group will always have a part to play in a vintage car show. Afterall some of the cars now classified as "vintage" we actually sold new!
This weekend the Nelson Vintage Car Club are holding their 50 year anniversary and celebrating with a Vintage Car Club Rally on Saturday for club members, and an "open to the public" show at the Richmond A & P Showgrounds, which will feature a large presence from the Bowater Motor Group.
The show will feature a wide range of vintage cars, and goes from 11am til 3pm. We will be there showcasing just how far the technology of motor vehicles has come in the last 100 years, with our brand new offerings of technological mastery from Toyota, Lexus, Honda and Hyundai, along with some of our knowledgable team to help explain the finer details.
There will be over 125 vintage cars and bikes on display, as well as food, music and entertainment on site. It will be a rain or shine event, so if the forecast doesn't improve come prepared with an umbrella!
It will be a great weekend activity and the chance to see some fine examples of motoring from yesteryear alongside what we offer today.
Entry to the show is gold coin donation, with kids under 12 free.
