Kiwis are spending more time at work and less time with their family than ever. Hyundai New Zealand wants to help change that with the launch of The Hyundai Family Time Project, an initiative designed to help give time back to hard working Kiwi families.

The project began life as a way to thank their family – staff, dealer network and customers – for helping make Hyundai one of New Zealand’s favourite auto brands. Now they’ve introduced the opportunity for all New Zealanders to win time together with family.

It’s an ambitious, work-it-out-as-they-go kind of project and they’re committed to making it happen. A big slice of what they would normally spend on traditional media has been invested straight back into Kiwi families and the project kicked off with a year of time to give away. You could win a share of that year.

They’ve already shared 3 months with their staff and dealer network. Then they have six months for our nations Hyundai drivers and 3 months for all New Zealanders. Just let them know how you’d spend a month with your family and you’re in to win. Winners will be selected by online vote so make your story something special. Every entry helps remind us all of the importance of time spent together with family.

How to win Family Time

You could leave work early every day and pick up the kids from school, round up the rellies from all over the country for a series of Sunday roasts, spend a month apologising to your mum and dad for your teenage years or ask your kids to write your entry and discover just how important time really is.

Those kids of yours with grandchildren you hardly ever see? We could fly them all home so you can spoil them rotten. You could take a month off work to write a really long thankyou letter to your mum, or sit on the beach with your dad the whole time, fishing but not talking much because you know he’d really enjoy that. Or maybe you just want to hang out with your kids before they realise you’re not cool.

There are 12 months in total to win – three have already gone to Hyundai staff and dealer network, that leaves six months for Hyundai drivers and 3 months for the rest of New Zealand. Get those entries in.
