The month of celebrations at Bowater Hyundai's brand new showroom on the corner of Rutherford and Hardy Streets continues, with the chance for someone to win a fabulous musical theatre weekend away. Someone has to win, and they will get to take a friend along to see the wonderful live show Annie that is playing in Wellington 24th May, with flights, accommodation and breakfasts for two on us! The dazzling international production features a cast of 30 colourful characters led by Britain’s hilarious star of stage and TV screen Su Pollard (Hi-de-Hi!) as the dastardly gin-soaked Orphanage Principal Miss Hannigan, while David McAlister, a veteran of the West End stage and TV dramas (The Mousetrap, Dr Who), plays the kindly Daddy Warbucks.
With some of the best-known songs in musical theatre (Tomorrow, It’s The Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street), ANNIE also boasts spectacular sets, glorious costumes, a hilarious script and of course the adorable dog Sandy.
