Bowater Honda helps us all get Free Parking
Bowater Honda has provided Uniquely Nelson, the city's retail promotion organisation, with the use of a new Honda City this winter as we kick off the Free Parking promotion.
That's right folks, it is FREE PARKING in Nelson each and every Tuesday from the 24th July until Tuesday 4th September.
Chris Bowater is right behind the promotion and was more than happy to get a car sorted from Bowater Honda for the winter promotion. We can all use a break over the harder winter months, so a day of free parking is sure to put a smile on everyone's face!

Although there will be no charge at the meters, shoppers need to be aware that current time limits of 1, 2 or 3 hours (depending on where you park) still apply to discourage the parks being used for all day parking. Council’s parking wardens will still be enforcing the time limits, so people are reminded to check on the meter and parking signage to confirm how long they can stay.
Any other parking and vehicle offences (such as WOF’s, registrations and safety issues) will continue to be enforced.
The area to which this applies includes the entire area where commuters currently pay for parking in the CBD including the four parking squares. Please note that free parking will be available in the privately owned car parks in Fashion Island off Hardy Street. It does not apply to any other privately owned or long term leased car parks.
