This Saturday sees the first of our public Great Garage Sale mornings at our building at 82 Archilles Ave, opposite the council car park in the Rutherford St entrance to the Wakatu Carpark in central Nelson..
We have gathered together a decade's worth of "spare" spare parts that have ended up in all sorts of weird and wonderful places, more often than not saved for a rainy day. With the summer we have been having that rainy day is not coming anytime soon, so it is time to clear out our storerooms and make some new space for some exciting new plans in the wings.
Most of these bits and pieces are brand new, and not even out of the packaging materials they arrived in. They would have been ordered for customers over the years and not used for a variety of reasons. The range stretches from bull bars and bumpers, through to spare rims and wheels that have been swapped off new Hiluxes destined for a harder off road life.
Thule roof racks and attachment systems, all sorts of different oils and lubricants, spark plugs and other little parts for all sorts of makes and models, bumpers, seats that have come out of vans, seat covers, floor mats..... the list just goes on and on.
Whilst a picture indeed does paint a thousand spare parts, it does not go anywhere near the detail needed to give you the full experience.

Those that are keen have also jumped onto our BMG Garage Sale Trade Me account and snapped up a few bargins already - imagine if you wanted to upgrade to a monster ARB bull bar for your 70 Series Land Cruiser? Instead of paying $2,600 for one, lucky punter Trade User "overkill" picked his up for just $820 after a feverish last minute bidding war. At $800 he still saved himself $1,800 on a new one, and we cleared some much needed space out of the warehouse.
If you are at a loose end this Saturday pop on down to our building at 82 Archilles Ave, opposite the council car park in the Rutherford St entrance to the Wakatu Carpark in central Nelson. between 9am and 12 noon - the Parts team will be there, and maybe even doing the odd crazy deal or two!
