Z Bowater Motors gives back.
Yesterday was a very special day for the Bowater Motor Group as we had the opportunity to give back $5000 to the local Motueka community.
During March our Bowater Motors Service Station site on High Street in Motueka changed branding from a Shell Station to a new Z Station. Part of this process was the nationwide Z initiative of donating $5000 to local charities as determined by the customers themselves.
For Motueka the charities up for the donations were the Motueka Recreation Centre, the Jack Inglis Friendship Hospital, the Motueka Regional Ambulance and the Motueka Riding for the Disabled.
The $5000 donation was split between these charities depending on the number of votes they received from our Z Bowater Motors customers.
We had the pleasure of presenting the cheques to representatives of each of these organisations at the Z Station yesterday afternoon.
