Celebrity fisherman Matt Watson will be here, as well as some great deals on the best recreational vehicles you need to get you into the bush, to your favourite secret fishing spot, or getting your boat to the harbour!
It is going to be a great opportunity to come down to a free, centrally located event, see some great gear and the latest and greatest in both cars and boats.
Bowater Toyota have got a series of 15 minute sessions planned where you can learn some of the tricks to getting the most out of your vehicle when it comes to getting you to your favourite places for hunting and fishing.
There will be talks held all day from the team at Bowater Toyota, Totally Boating and the Nelson Hunting & Fishing stores, with everything from properly smoking fish through to using fish finders to find the little critters in the first place!
Come ready to bid at the Charity Auction as well - there are some amazing things up for grabs, like the Bowater Toyota corporate box for the opening home game of the Nelson Giants! Seats 10 and comes complete with nibbles & drinks. What a great gift.
We will publish a schedule of events, and a list of the Charity Auction items closer to the event.
All of the proceeds on the day will go towards the Nelson Coastguard - a worthwhile charity that relies heavily on local donations, and provides such a valuable service for those out on the water.
A big drawcard on the day has to be Matt Watson.
For those of you not familiar with Matt Watson, he is the host of the ITM Fishing Show on TV3 - and quite a character! He shot to fame with a few bold moves and an underwater camera a couple of years ago. Check him out on Letterman back in 2009.
