The Honda Jazz is a snazzy little number. It certainly gets a whole lot of attention, and is perfect when you want to make a splash.
When Cathy Madigan from Uniquely Nelson came by seeking support for this winters exciting new promotion to inject some fizz into the city centre we immediately thought that our Honda Jazz demonstrator would be perfect for her.
Our "Attract Yellow" Honda Jazz has certainly made an impact in the past few month's that we have had it at Bowater Honda as our demonstrator vehicle. It is now enjoying a new lease on life as the promotional vehicle for the Uniquely Nelson "Feast of the Senses" winter campaign.
This July prepare to tuck into some stunning winter fare - from a very sumptuious moving feast around some of the city's finest eateries, through to a journey around Nelson City streets where we can enjoy the creative illuminated collaborations between artists and retailers. Featuring illuminated art and installations, city retail windows take on a life of their own in the dark of winter! This sounds awesome and is just the tip of the iceberg with music events planned and a whole range of competitions to be involved in, as well as family and friend friendly Culinary Passports!
Nelson City has more than 50 restaurants offering cuisines from every continent, seriously cool bars with boutique wines and craft beers and a café culture that takes coffee to a fine art! The arrival of the 2015 Toyota Aurion debuts an improved line-up featuring more specification, more safety and more sports detailing.
“The Aurion is designed with customers who prefer the distinctive in mind and matches the space and specification of a grand tourer sedan with a genuinely powerful and proven V6 engine,” says Spencer Morris, Toyota New Zealand General Manager of Product.
Toyota’s premier grand touring V6 sedan benefits from a host of upgrades, beginning with improved exterior design elements. Up front a new grille design matches a three-bar chrome upper grille with black lower grille bars, while sports-themed Sportivo SX6 and ZR6 feature a modern makeover to their lower rear bumper design. The rear spoiler design for both Sportivo grades has also been updated for a more advanced appearance.

The Bowater Motor Group was established in central Nelson back in 1947 by Raymond Bowater upon returning from serving in the second world war, and now, 68 years later, spans 4 generations of the Bowater Family.
Today we celebrated our unofficial, online birthday.
The thing with having a digital presence is the requirement in a lot of instances to put in a birth date in order to validate a "signup" process, especially when setting up social media accounts back in the early days of the platforms. The Bowater Motor Group were very early adopters of this exciting new technology and we made some of these new platforms work for us even when they weren't really catering for business use. As a result every year we now have a "digital birthday" of 2nd June - a date we chose that suited our purpse at the time. The actual date that Raymond opened the doors of his Achilles Ave business back in 1947 is a little harder to find out, but it is part of the story we are working on as we head towards the big 70th celebrations in 2017!
What this digital birthday does is give us a moment to reflect on the sheer length of time that the Bowater Motor Group has been driving the dreams of the Nelson and Tasman region in the Top of the South. We are now into our 4th generation of Bowater family members working in the family focused business, and we are going from strength to strength.

With a completely new exterior look and interior upgrades, Camry GL, Atara, Atara S and Atara SX complete the petrol range, with the Atara SX showcasing improved on-road dynamic.
While hybrid petrol-electric variants share the GL and Atara S grades with an additional Atara SL luxury grade, the hybrid model line-up has expanded from two to three grades, with grade names now aligned with Camry petrol models.
