Bowater Honda has the insight to sort out the Chamber of Commerce.

Last week we had the pleasure of handing the keys over to a brand new Honda Insight hybrid. The lucky recipients were none other than the lovely folks at the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce no less.

Part of Bowater Honda's support of community causes and projects also extends to the likes of the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce. This group works hard to ensure that the economy of the top of the south remains firmly on the positive side of the ledger.

We firmly believe in their core philosophy of wanting to make Nelson Tasman the best place to live and the best place to do business.

The Chamber makes it easier to do business.  They’re experts at creating connections, leveraging off everyone's natural business advantages and regional strengths, and bringing national and regional expertise into the ‘room’ so local business people benefit. Aside from the vital services they provide they also facilitate a series of evening meetings to allow businesses to get together in a casual yet structured environment.

Aurora scores a hundred for just buying fuel from Z Bowater Motors

Aurora receives her $100 Z Gift Card from site manager Matt Morris

Giving away gifts to our local customers is always a bonus. Even more so when it is a short and sharp promotion on a nationwide scale and we are able to give one of the prizes to a deserving local.

Over the last couple of days Z Energy has been running a promotion nationally that if you buy $20 worth of fuel you can go into the draw for a $100 Z Gift Card.

The team at Z Bowater Motors on High Street in Motueka have been letting all of their customers know and getting the word out there in the hope that someone local wins one of the gift cards up for grabs. Today we had the pleasure to hand over a $100 Z Gift Card to very happy local Aurora. We hope she enjoys the gift!

Famous MoBros - our moustaches get famous.

Today we had the pleasure of getting together as many of the Bowater's MoBro's as we could for a photo for the Nelson Mail. With 6 different locations spread out across the region it is always hard to co-ordinate all of our MoBro's but we managed to get about a third of those participating this year to the photo shoot.

Hopefully this photo and resulting article in tomorrow's paper will generate some more donations to our Bowater Motor Group Movember page, which if you click here will take you through to where you can donate. It is easy, safe and secure and will only take a couple of minutes and we will be most grateful.

Martin de Ruyter from the Nelson Mail was as professional as always and snapped a great shot of us all, which is posted further down in the article.

We are very much looking forward to the reaction from tomorrow's newspaper article and hopefully a surge in donations to our Movember account. We are currently ranked 906th on the national list so are not doing too badly, but wouldn't it be great to get within the top 100! Come on Nelson Tasman, help us help the Movember cause! Donate now.

The momentum has been building this week as the Bowaters MoBros realise that there is only a week left. The itchiness has moved on for most and many are into serious manscaping territory in order to keep it all tidy. The donations have been rolling in but we could always do with more.

The Camo D-Max makes a return.

The Bowater Isuzu Camo wrapped D-Max was a head turner and certainly was a talking point where ever it went. It ended up going to a new home on the West Coast to be used like a proper truck! No posing outside the cafe looking all shiny, this hard core machine was destined to be used and driven to the best places in the country - out the back and well away from the roads!

When you are living this kind of lifestyle you need a truck you can rely on, and one that is up to the task, with proper off road pedigree. The new West Coast owners are loving the D-Max and using it well, as evidenced by the photos we recently received.

The Camo D-Max out in the wilds!

How cool is that! Not a road, or any form of civilisation to be seen AT ALL, and the horizon is a very long way away. This is the beauty of living where we do......
