Ever since our humble beginnings in downtown Nelson in 1945 the Bowater Motor Group has been very focused on community involvement. We believe that you are only ever as successful as the support that you can give back. It is with this philosophy that we continue to be as involved as we can be in the wider Nelson / Tasman community.

The 2017 Good in the Hood is on Nelson! Here's how to vote.
Good in the Hood is back for May at Z Rutherford and making your vote count is super easy. Every purchase, excluding tobacco, gets you a token. Tokens go into the voting display by the front door on your way out of the store. Easy as.

Victory Boxing is pleased to have the community in it's corner
Paul Hampton, the face behind the success at local charitable organisation Victory Boxing, is a really humble, old school kiwi bloke of the finest order. He has put himself out there and poured his energy into a project that he always knew would have the potential to change lives. Several years on, the gym is going from strength to strength, and the class sizes are swelling.
We took a few minutes to head down to the gym for a quick chat about what the support of local businesses like Bowater Hyundai and Isuzu do for an organisation such as Victory Boxing.
Victory Boxing, Nelson, New Zealand is doing some wonderful work in the community. Bowater Hyundai & Isuzu are proud to be standing strongly in their corner and helping them get out and about. We caught up with the always inspirational Paul Hampton for a quick chat.

The applications are now open for all local charity groups to apply for their share of the $4,000 from Z Bowater Motors in Motueka, and Z Rutherford in central Nelson.

2017 funding is open. Get your charity involved!
It's time to get Good in the Hood again at Z Rutherford and Z Bowater Motors in High Street Motueka.
The funding is there waiting to be collected. This year each of the Bowater Motors Service Stations will be offering up $4,000 per site worth of funding for 8 local charities to divide based on their share of the publics votes. It is a great platform and we always look forward to this. A chance to give back to the community but more importantly a chance to shine a light on the great work that these charities do for our entire community.
Good in the Hood is back again and Z Rutherford in central Nelson, & Z Bowater Motors in Motueka have information as to how your Charity can apply. $4000 worth of funding per Service Station to local groups.
